Default Nerves responding in opposite part of the body?

Nothing serious, just wondered if this is common, or if it is linked to the "poly" side of my PN.

I was massaging one of my toes, and not only did I feel a slight tingle (like very weak current) higher up in my foot, but also in the same place ... on my other foot. I could replicate it several times, so it wasn't something I was "imagining".

Could this mean that not only the nerves are damaged, but that also the brain is having a hard time interpreting the signals?

It's nothing important, it's just very odd, and never experienced it before the PN.
