HCTZ is implicated in drug induced lupus.... there are papers on this. Some on this list are the same as the drug induced lupus ones. Since lupus can cause PN, that is the connection.

HCTZ is also a sulfonamide based drug... which is problematic.

The ACE inhibitors all are implicated in drug induced lupus (lisinopril caused mine)...as well as the ARBs like Micardis...however the ARBs are less likely than the ACEs are.

Put the generic name of your drug in PubMed with drug induced lupus as a keyword phrase and see if it pops up a paper.

Many PN lists differ from each other. I notice that Tindamax is not on this this list, nor Zyvox. The other fluoroquinolones Levaquin and Avelox are not listed either.
