I hear your tears Renee. I too grieve for a lost pet. It has been two years, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him. They say it gets easier with time, but in many ways so far it doesn't. I cry too Renee. I pray in heaven we get to meet up again with our friends. Sometimes pets are kinder than people.
Glad you have a new pet. It doesn't take the place of what you had, but they can and do give joy in a whole new way. I adopted a 3 day old kitten, Hercules, who was dumped at a shelter. What a handful! May your heart ache be replaced with new found happiness. ginnie
