Hi Sweets,

Evaluating canine aggression is best done in person, on-site (in your home or where he displays the aggressive behavior) by a professional. I would contact your local ASPCA/shelter and ask for a trainer who specializes in behavioral problems—the sooner the better.

If the problem is as minor as you say, a good trainer should be able to solve it/help you in one session (though you will have to work with the dog for as long as necessary).
