So if antibiotics can be a trigger for PN, what do they do about patients who need surgery around areas where there are nerves, ex. the back, where they frequently use antibiotics prophylacticly? This is what happened to me. I had back suergery 2 x and they used antibiotics both times. Could this have caused my PN??
