Hi, don't be afraid of the actual process of this ingrown toenail. However you need to find a physician that knows about CRPS before doing any kind of injection or surgery. This little slice of toenail out, corrects it for all time. It doesn't come back. I would seek an orthopedic surgeon, rather than a podiatrist in your case because of the CRPS. I would think they would know a lot more.
This shot is a nerve block to the toe that is the offending one. It really isn't bad to do, however I know you have to be careful with CRPS. Let me know what you plan to do. ginnie
