Hi All, Im new to the forum and would like to ask a question.
i'm experiencing a real lose of strength in my legs and arms. i've had all the test. its gone from being able to walk to needing a cane and if i'm standing or walking for more than a couple minutes they throb and ache so bad my legs want to give out. Im seeing one neuro and now he is sending me to another one.

technical summary: the nerve conduction studies of the right extremities show prolonged median motor and sensory distal latencies. Sural sensory responses are absent bilaterally. On needle examination, decreased recruitment and increased motor unit durations are noticed in the vastus lateralis, mediai gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior muscles bilaterally.

Repetitive nerve stimulation of the median and ulnar nerves bilaterally are within normal limits.

Impression:
1. chronic axonal peripheral neuropathy without active denervation.
2. right carpal tunnel syndrome.
3. No EMG evidence for myasthenia.
