Hi Lisa! I too want to welcome you! I sure can relate to your story! .. The "fake smiles" people not really understanding what is going on with you, etc. well, we are here, we are going through the same pain, feelings, depression etc. I quit hiding my pain in front of my husband!! I was at first, because I didn't want him to worry. well, the hack with that now.. LOL hey through sickness and health eh? LOL so, when I am in pain, having a really hard day.. etc. I tell him. the bottom line, Lisa, no one understands unless they have been in "our shoes". you are not the first to walk down this path to which we call RSD and that is why we are here to answer your questions, if we can, your thoughts about what is going on with you, and so on.. I am on an antidepressant called Effexor XR and that seeems to help. I want to welcome you here with open arms and to let you know that your in the right place, with loving, supportive friends all around here. (((hugs Lisa))) Love, Desi
