Anyway, not to detract from you, nanc, please let me know if you need anything, if I may ask, what bladder procedure are you having done? I'm still having lots of troubles in that area as well. If that weren't enough, I need a knee scope of all ridiculous things and you know how dangerous that is for RSD! Please any help in that area, I would appreciate. Things are not going well. Well in any area really.

Hey TK!
That stinks that you need a new thoracic scs. Yes, I know it is a tough decision to make...have a revision or remove it?? My new doctor thinks removal is the best for me, over having a revision. I like this new dr so far, have a good feeling about him and have seen/heard good reviews too. They are supposed to call me by tomorrow to schedule that surgery. I am shooting for after Christmas.
Yesterday I had a cystoscopy with hydrodistention and bladder biopsies. I had to be under anesthesia and it was outpatient. I have to say that I had the best anesthesiologist ever!! Also, the nurse putting the IV in was fantastic. I absolutely NO nausea whatsoever, which is the first ever. Felt pretty good after I was good and awake. My bleeding is slowing down now and the pain is better...but I can tell when the medication they gave me for it is wearing off. Anyway, I have my follow-up appt on Dec 6, so I will know more after that.
Sorry that you received the MS diagnosis and are having so many other things going on too...like RSD is not enough right?!? If you need to have the knee scope, then you need to have it. Just make sure that dr is well aware of your RSD and what it means. Take all the precautions you need to. My dr yesterday said before my procedure that he would do his best to do as little as possible, didn't want to disturb my RSD. Again, I was happy that he was aware and understanding of it.
Good luck to you TK!!
Nanc
