There is a lot of evidence that barometric air pressure changes affect pain levels in CRPS, also other weather changes like damp, cold, or stormy weather for instance. All can exacerbate the pain and make us feel worse.
Air pressure changes also make air travel more painful for us than non-CRPS folk, and the change involved in driving from sea-level up some pretty high mountain scenery would also involve enough of a change of pressure if you are susceptible to it.
