If you're living with her, it might help to speak with a therapist and determine if things can improve between the two of you, or if would be better for you to move out. --Even if it requires you to get subsidized housing and/or other help...

In many ways my mother was (and is) incredibly supportive, but with all the additional stressors of being permanently disabled, and chronically ill, it was just too difficult for me to continue living with her. It would be difficult for many parents to maintain a balanced relationship when their adult child becomes dependent on them (financially, physically, etc.)
