I like the Febreeze idea, but my dad will get offended if I mention being bothered by the smell for any reason. He got mad at me last year at this time because we wanted to take him to look at Christmas lights for his birthday but I tried to push for everyone to ride in my car so my dad wouldn't have to drive...I wanted him to be able to enjoy the experience; instead, he ended up driving so my sister could smoke (she wouldn't have been allowed to smoke in my car). When everyone got out of the car to get snacks at a gas station on the way up there, he informed me that I should be happy that my sister is alive, blah blah blah... and asked me how I could dare to give her a hard time about smoking? That wasn't what had happened at all... It was simply a discussion where I was pulling for him to be able to relax on his birthday. So if I can't even ask her to not smoke in my car, he'll definitely be offended by the fact that I can't handle the smell of their house.
