Removal of earwax in an experienced Physician's office should not be a painful experience at all, unless he/she rushes the procedure.

They put drops in to presoften the wax; then irrigate with either a manual irrigator or a mechanical suction/irrigator........ a very simple procedure entirely.

These days there should not be a need to use any of the ear loops we had to use in the days-gone-by (which are now soft plastic rather than the hard metallic we had in the past).... which also had no need to be as painful as some practitioners made them out to be.

Best Wishes............

Medication update: Topamax 200mg twice daily it seems to minimize daily headaches to a 1-2/10 quality(I still know they are there); and acute headaches erupt without warnings.
