Tiger lilly,
I guess I'd have to be there to see what the problems are. I remember when I was having more problems with seizures. It wasn't the fact that I needed to see a neurotherapist. I just needed to talk to someone about my problems all together. I ended up going to see my regular doctor once a week to tell him about my seizures that I was having. After doing this for a year and realizing that the problems were all in my head, I finally told him that I didn't need to see him anymore. I was already seeing a neurologist every 3 months as is was. I needed to realize that there was someone there to listen to me when I needed them. At least we have the internet to do that today.
Maybe you just need to see a therapist who specializes in cogontive therapy for a reason. Start out with that and see how things go. If you don't see any changes in a couple of months, then think of seeing a neurotherapist. All a neurotherapist will do is test your memory skills.
