Hello,I am new to this site.11 years ago I had electric shock pains in my left leg,behind the knee.They were severe and I have been left with nerve damage and disability as a result.
While in hospital with this problem they found that I had B12 deficiency and I now have a jab every 3 months to sort that out.There are no side effects from the B12 jab, it does sting for a short while,but that is all.A simple blood test was all that was needed to check.
I also went on Gabapentin for about 7 years-.Although left disabled the shock pains subsided,but now suddenly they have returned.I am back on the Gabapentin and am now trying to get the pains under control.
It is scary and my heart goes out to others on this site that I have been reading about.
