Thanks for your opinion. I agree with you, he probably is not being truthful. I can't imagine faking an awful illness to make money off of people who are honestly sick themselves and, of course, vulnerable to these types of creeps.
You summed up what I had in the back of my mind, but still was thinking of giving it a go because of my own vulnerability and desire to help my husband.
