Hi fembot,
Welcome! This is a great place to get answers. Just because your antibody tests were negative in the past does not mean this is not autoimmune. As my PCP told me there are so many antibodies in the human body, the medical community has only begun to scratch the surface of testing for them.

I am sorry that you r going through this. I know it is very difficult but it is necessary to try and keep you stress level down. I don't know if you have ever meditated but it does work in times of stress. Try to find something that helps to relieve your anxiety. I'm guessing that you need your job. Is it possible to look for another while still working there?

Also, do you have dry mouth and eyes. I have a been dx'd with small fiber neuropathy and Sjogren's. Look Sjogren's up on line and see if it matches with your symptoms.

I know how hard it is to not be able to exercise. I too was at the gym 5-6 days a week for a few hours. If you are continuing to exercise only do as much as you can. Don't push it. You will come to understand it is not worth the pain.

When do you have your next appointment with your neurologist? Before you go write down any questions or tests you may want done. It makes it easier for you and the doctor. If you are able take someone with you. Write down the answers you get so you can refer back to them.

Good Luck hopeful
