Batteries being changed after 8 years
Good Morning,
I had my DBS 8 years ago and am finally having them replaced. I started complaining about a year ago the I was having unexplained power outages. It has taken awhile to actually convince the team that I could feel them go off. The machine they used to test them showed them as on 100% of the time. Turned out the Programable device they used was too modern for my batteries. It really helps to have a caregiver come with you to appointments. My husband came with me and when I was once more told that the batteries were always on, my husband that he knew they had been off as he turned them back on himself.
Thanks,
Vicky
