Default Back or head "locked up"

I'm going on 14 months after initial concussion. This past summer, my chiropractic neurologist ran some diagnostic tests and recommended various neutraceuticals to lower neuroinflammation and reduce glutamate levels in the brain (curcumin, resveratrol, etc.), but I was not able to tolerate them well. About a month ago, I had a severe relapse of PCS symptoms, most notably the feeling of the lower back of my head being "locked up," making it difficult to speak.

Does anyone know what causes this lower-back-of-the-head locked-up feeling or the inability to speak and what I could try to treat these symptoms?

Thanks!
