Like you I'm new to this but as mentioned in the replies above, seeing as many doctors as you can will only be of benefit to you – don’t be scared.

Darlene mentions the Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Concussion Syndrome thread, though the problem is that PCS can be a little tricky to diagnose (from what I’ve read at least anyway)
