Attention

Hey mrsD,

Thanks for your response!

I am not taking anything else right now except IVIg therapy. I certainly noticed some burning in my hands and feet this morning after only one pill last night. I am hypersensitive to all meds.
Lexapro has a warning on the label about parathesis, so I am already scared to take anymore. No nausea or diarrhea. No opiates.
My new neuro says "To be honest, I think we should just try it"
I feel that this may be a little to haphazard of an approach.
I just started IVIg, how will I know if it is helping if the Lexapro is causing more burning?
Would you risk it?

Do you have nausea and/or diarrhea? This is another sign when starting of elevated serotonin. You are not taking amitriptyline are you? Also you have to avoid DM in cold remedies OTC.
Do you use opiates? These might be additive for this side effect.
