The locked up feeling is hard to describe. It feels inflamed in that area and makes it difficult to function in general. The neck joints don't seem to be involved.
Regarding speech, I can organize thoughts and find the words, but the act of talking makes my head feel much worse so I have not been talking. It seems to increase the inflammation whenever I try.
