Regarding the salt water..... start using less salt per cup of water. Use a dash or 1/8th of a tsp of salt and no more. See if that is less irritating. Salt is an excellent natural disinfectant but too much of it will cause the tissue to become inflamed and sore.

Also, it would be best to eat a nutritious diet of mostly soft foods and avoid eating foods that require a lot of chewing. This will give your jaw a rest. You may have to do this for a couple of weeks or longer. If you could "juice" fruits and vegetables that would be an excellent source of nutrition!

I know this is hard, but hang in there and try to remain positive. You could also try applying a warm moist washcloth (cover with a dry one) to the outside area of your face. This heat encourages blood to flow into that area and may reduce the discomfort. Best to do this a couple of times a day especially at night before you go to sleep.

Hope you get relief very soon!!

Thanks for advice Bryanna it's much appreciated. I met oral surgeon again today. He is trying few different things, I hope they will help.
First he wants me to try Lyrica tablets, I'm meeting surgeon next Thursday again to see how I'm getting on with them. Also I've to put a small amount of corsodyl with luke warm water when I'm cleaning tooth socket after eating.
He wants to see how I get on for a week.
If this doesn't work he is suggesting ordinary tooth in front of where I removed wisdom tooth to be refilled. This tooth has a filling in it. And if doesn't work he thinks last wisdom tooth at the lower back could be causing the difficulty.
I will have a tough few weeks ahead!
I wonder is it possible that the filled tooth in front of where wisdom tooth removed that its nerve has got damaged from the extraction of wisdom tooth long side it and this can't be seen on x ray?
I'm very scared with the whole ordeal.
