hi thanks for the replies and well wishes. i saw a new psycologist who has quite alot of experience with crps and said she felt ocd was linked. she advised me it was for a few reasons. one being ocd is a form of anxity and the anxity has manifested as ocd. two that the person with crps has no real control over their body so the compulsions from ocd can seem as though you have some control. although she did explain that you really had no control over the compulsions. my compulsions are more checking things like lights are off doors are locked. so far i dont have the germs issues. the psyc is going to try cbt and other treatments before medication. her opinion was that the crps is at the root of all the anxity deppression and ocd issues i have. so fingets crossed. thanks again
