Thank you!!! I have also experienced these muscle spasms wince my car accident. I told many doctors and my psychologist said it may be due to anxiety. I never had this before, it is relieving to know others are experiencing the same symptom!

It is particularly troubling at night when I am just about to fall asleep. It seems to almost snap me out of sleeping. Definitely notice it more on a "bad day" than on a good one which is why I'm asking on this board.
