I'm dealing with 2 constant pain conditions and another that is sparatic. I have so much back pain I can't even stand up straight. I'm stuck laying in bed. Actually I'm always stuck in bed because of my RSD which is another very painful condition.

My pain doc doesn't believe me when I told him another doctor said the middle of my back is painful because of Internal Scar Tissue. It's due to having the same spinal surgery 3 times. That was due to the RSD. I have layers upon layers of scar tissue inside me. Also my lower spine curves to the right.
So everything from my shoulder blades down hurts non-stop.

The only thing I don't have pain in is my 2 arms and left leg/foot. I'm physically tired. I'm tired of trying to relieve this pain and relieve that pain. And so on and so on and so on.

My mom said my recent back pain is my fault because I went to a movie with my dad. We live an hour away so we meet half way to see a movie and dinner.

I led my 2 dogs into the living room (just to get them out of my hair for a while) and my mom said "Do you want to watch this movie I just got". I said "Noooo I need to lay down" due to back pain. She said in a very mean way "What do you expect when you go to a movie" "You should know better then that". She could care less. She's never cared. That itself makes me upset.

I guess I should go............just needed to get this out...............thanx
Heather
Hi Heather, I'm so sorry your mum is giving you a hard time, it sounds like she is resentful of your situation and dare I say jealous of attention you get. If only she could take on board you just want to live a pain free life and be like everyone else who can take in a movie and dinner and enjoy it. Unlike us, where we sit and have to squirm and fidget to get comfortable and just when we are settled the movie is finishing and dinner is sitting like a solid lump in our tum. Of course you should try the movies and dinner, she should be happy to see you getting out and about rather than withering up indoors. Tell her you understand she would have preferred to have been the one to go out to the movies with you and there is always a next time.

I don't know how or why, but mothers often seem to hold the power to cut us off at the knees. Keep your chin up and be proud you made the effort to get out and about. Well done!
