If he has seen TOS before, and given your symptoms, your description and probably your pulse disappearing when he raised your arm, he probably got it right. And given that MDs don't do PT, adjustments or neuromuscular massage, it makes sense that he moved you onto the next step.

I wouldn't worry about this experience. Your next focus is finding a good PT.
