I too am on SSDI due to physical problems neck/back fusions and herniations and the BP. Yet, you are allowed to work, but there is a limit of how much you can make without them taking your benefits away. It's called Ticket to Work, check it out at the
SSDI Government site.

I am not sure of the actual website name, but it's not hard to find. I'll see if I have it.
