• Save Money: This is a good one Catra, and something I too need to do!
- Our recent trip to San Francisco and then Christmas for five children and one grandbaby, and our lack of my income really wiped us out. Just yesterday we sat down looking at how to rebuild our rainy day fund. We will be giving it our best to do the same, and save some money.
• Be kinder, more appreciative, more spiritual, and stop worrying: Yes Ma’am Renee, all these for me too.
- I tend on average to be kind (I think), but boy I can lose my temper and patience with my young adult children. It’s like I stuff it down, stuff it down, and then explode with “what the hell were/are you thinking my dear child?” this also holds true with the medical community who don’t show interest in learning more about this thing we call CRPS/RSD.
- Spirituality, for me, does not include a weekly trip to church for fellowship. I realize it is a very popular choice for many, and one which I appreciate and respect in others, but do not practice myself, anymore. For me, church is just me and my higher power connecting; that comes in many forms and from many sources for me. Most often that happens here at home, but I much prefer it among the trees, mountains, and bonus if it’s next to water too. When in those places I feel closer to the creator and stand in awe of life and beauty, and I ALWAYS feel more centered, relaxed, and creative. And then it’s awesome because I tend to worry less too, and seem to take life more in stride and pain levels are lower. Yes Vrae! Do more of this!! I would also really like to learn more about meditation.
