Coming to that realisation that you have to let go is heart wrenching for anyone to deal with - yet deal you must because there comes a time when letting go with a blessing, a kiss and a smile through your tears is the greatest gift you can someone you love.

I agree and can not begin to imagine how parents of terminally ill children manage the process or to recover after. I'd be more in favor of heroic efforts to save a kiddo than someone my age who already has a horrific disease like MS.
The St. Jude's hospital ad was on TV the other day and to see those sick babies just broke my heart. I just can't imagine and add it to my huge mental list of injustices that make me ready to exit this lifetime whenever.
