Reading is difficult
I am at almost 2 years and still can not read for longer than 30 minutes. Mine is due mostly to post traumatic vision syndrome and mid line shift syndrome.
I am currently undergoing treatment from a osteopath who is correcting the placement of my occipital bone. It is not his area of expertise, but he was told that until the occipital bone is in the correct position my vision therapy will not work.
I still have more session at the osteopath so I will see if this does anything. He also suggested going on a wheat free and dairy free diet. I am also on day 7 of this. Apparently wheat and dairy causes inflammation and getting rid of the inflammation and will help with brain repair (not exactly sure what he said??)
There are also computer screens which are easier to read from and tinted glasses which can help. I find it really difficult to look at facebook because the scanning can make me really sick within 20 minutes.
Good Luck and Happy New Years!!!!
