Holiday are difficult
Last Christmas I tried to cook a turkey dinner, I staged it over 3 days but on the final day with the gravy etc. I could not finish, someone else had to take over and I had to sit down.
This year, I am actually feeling worst due to Osteopath treatments. My kids and I decided not to decorate and I made lasagne for dinner. I enjoyed myself much more and we had a good time because I did not try to have that perfect Christmas. I must admit my guilt was diminished by having a discussion and having everyone agree on what is important. There is always next year.
I have had to cancel and scale back on a lot due to the osteopath treatments but sometimes you have to commit to trying something and everything else has to be put aside. BTW apparently the increased symptoms is a good sign that the treatments are working. I am getting my occipital bone realigned and this causes more fatigue (18 hours of sleep), migraines and dizziness.
Happy New Years and try to be more realistic about what you can do.
