I know I said my big goal is to set aside a certain amount of money every month...and that is still my number one...but a friend of mine wants to do this group thing where we all set health goals for ourselves and push one another to commit to them and make it happen so I figured...why not? So here's what I came up with:
-Start every day eating a piece of fruit (or several...but at least one)
-No caffeine
-Eat at least 2 salads a week
-No ordering out except for special occasions (people coming over, etc)
-Bring lunch to work instead of ordering out
-Make "from scratch" meals at least 4 days a week.
-Go to the grocery store at least once a week.
I know from experience that the goals need to be very specific and measurable because something like "eat healthier" is too vague and hard to stick to. I've actually already been on the no caffeine for several months now and am proud I have been able to stick to it. I do follow the 4 Fs diet but this past year I got a bit lazy and started ordering out more. So I want to get back to being good and break those bad habits.
