Stitcher's thread deserves bumping up.

I've always had an irrational dislike of James Parkinson. He was the person who first described paralysis agitans, which was later renamed Parkinson's Disease. I suppose the way my mind works is that if he hadn't found it, it wouldn't exist and, therefore, I wouldn't have got it.

There was mention of him on British radio today. He was an interesting guy. Wikipedia [1]:

"Parkinson called for representation of the people in the House of Commons, the institution of annual parliaments, and universal suffrage."

It'll be hard, but I suppose I should like him.
