Yup Steve, that polar vortex is suppose to be above the Arctic circle. a piece of it broke off and it bubbled down to the south above US. I wonder if its related to why my cousin in Australia is have record high 100* temps? It's suppose to move back up attaching to where it belongs after today.
This weekend we'll have our thaw! Up in the 50's*!
Ds got his pipes thawed before work. That was scary, I was afraid for them to burst. Last Friday was actually colder at -9, but it is just below 0* now with a wind chill of -31*.
