Hi all,
Just got back from my pod surgeon. He x-rays my toes, and he thinks I may have a small fracture and ripped my ligament. He injected my foot so he could jerk my toe back into position, and as soon as he injected my foot, my toe started moving on its own into position. Doc said he has never seen that happen before. I started calling him Saint Michael.lol. he took more x-rays and decided that as it just happened, to tape my toes all together, and see if the ligment will heal bykeeping it immobile. Right now it feels great. He wants me to take percecot 1-2 every 4-6 hrs. I've reported into my PM, and they said they would let my doc know, but as it was an accident it would be ok.. I am such a baby. All Icould do was cry getting the shots. There was a time when I wouldn't have budged getting it. Hubby thinks the RSD is making me really sensitive to any type of pain. I guess he's right. Oh well, back to being in bed for a while. doc said it will need to stay off of, and wrapped for about 6 weeks. At least it wasn't the foot that suffers so much from rsd. and lets hope this doesn't make it appear in my other foot.
