Well, cats do that anyway. Weezie sings high pitched songs for us to get up in the morning. She starts around 5am... weeeeoooooo! eeeeeooooo eee uuuu!
eeeiiiiiioooooo!

The two of them play mostly with each other, at night. We call it rumble now, since both are large. When Maya was smaller Weezie was careful about hurting her. Now it is slam bam wrestling.
If Maya has one of her plastic spring toys, she bams into walls and everything!

Then when they get elderly there is the old cat howling in the night thing. And if they catch a mouse(which is not often) ...much howling with that too. Back when I used curlers in my hair (remember those?)...we had a black cat--Charlie cat--- who would steal them from the bucket I kept them in in the bathroom and carry them around the house howling.
.
And also there are socks, which sometimes stand in for mice or prey, and need to be dragged all over with lots of howling too. LOL

You know Lara we discovered that Weezie really likes having her kibble upstairs at night. It reduced the vocalizing quite a bit. Not completely, but quite a bit. When she was a tiny kitten we started the upstairs little flat dish, and she expects it now... keeping some food near you, in a spot where you won't trip over it, might silence your kitty. Also the springs (cat toys) are highly favored here, and keep Maya busy quite a bit. When the kitty bats it they really MOVE and they can be carried about and snagged with a nail. All good skills for mousing.
Just search plastic springs cat toy in Google.

.

This is a photo of them... these wide types are better than others.
Maya loves these!
