Today's snow started at around 2,or 3 PM. It stopped at around 1 AM this morning. It was a powdery snow, and we only got about two,or two,and a half inches.
I went out to my car,and the snow came right off. If the snow was wet,and frozen,I would have left it alone to keep my car's paint job in tact.
I saw the moon starting to show it's presence above the thin clouds. BF

Hi, Steve,
I appreciate your drawing a picture of your night with the snow.

Your description almost feels that I could be there.
Twelve hours of a few inches of dry snow for a few inches is slow (and non dramatic). It almost sound poetic.
The moon has been beautiful on our clear nights too.
Wed is one of our cool days again -- I am wearing close-toed shoes and a scarf with a light jacket when I leave the house in the am.
I think the evening (when I come home around 7:30pm) will be cooler.
