This is not the time for you to wait until things get worse to try to figure out how to get yourself a laptop; the time is now, when it's so hard to sit, and lying in bed with a laptop would ease the loneliness.

It could easily have been me. What? My kids would think to buy me a laptop if I was in hospital? I don't think so. If I instructed them, yes, they'd do something, but who wants to give instructions to get what you need.
