Hello - I haven't posted because I usually can just search this site and find all sorts of wonderful information. Thank you all for everything you've contributed.

I have autoimmune connective tissue diseases and recently developed something like neuropathy in my arms & legs.

Question - I have been on Elavil for a month and just switched over to Noritriptyline. I am having an EMG next Tuesday - should I stop that medication a couple days before so that the neuropathy will show up on the test? It does help the burning quite a bit, but I am afraid of going through it and the medication skewing the results.
