Are there any physical therapy success stories?

By success, I mean where PT resolved symptoms, without the need for surgery (not just that it reduced the pain to a more 'live-able' level)? If anyone has had that kind of PT success, I then ask is your PT ongoing, or were you able to stop PT and remain with resolved symptoms?
