You have to put it on your gum way above the tooth and let it dissolve over 20 minutes, destroying your teeth. The idea is it up swords better and you need less than the pop. It doesn't have sugar in it which is a positive and you don't have to rub it, but it takes for ever and is irritating to the gums and mouth and teeth.

You can put it under your tounge and it dissolves faster and seems somewhat less effective but, is the only way I could use it at all. So I would say they still have not perfected the delivery mechanism. But it's a pretty strong opiate and fairly fast acting. Really bad on the teeth.
