There is not a simple answer. It will help to slow down and give your brain some quiet rest but the "two weeks of no computer, TV or exercise" is not hard and fast rule nor a deal breaker. There are many aspects of your life that can be effecting your recovery and the roller coaster ride. A woman's cycle can influence the roller coaster ride. Emotional stressors can too.

So, I think you should just go slow and try to avoid stressors. Get started on a brain nutrition regimen like in the Vitamins sticky at the top. Don't fight your symptoms. If you feel like you body is telling you to slow down, then slow down.
