Default Nerve Pain, Followed by Tingling

Just a question to this group...already posed it on the TOS board.

Starting in mid December, I was riddled with severe, throbbing forearm pain due to TOS. The pain ran up to the forearm/wrist/hand area. Along with the pain, I have weakness in my left side, especially my triceps due to nerve compression.

Now, three weeks ago I started some PT exercises and massage. Since then, the pain has receded, but what's odd is that tingling in my index finger and hand/forearm has increased. The weakness remains.

Is this a good sign that maybe nerves are awakening?

Or a bad sign in that this is how the situation goes from bad to worse...start with pain move on to tingling/numbness?

Thanks.
