I think it has to start with the doctors....I visited a hematologist. Once he saw my list of supplements, he started lecturing me about the "no studies to show the benefits of supplements". I just politely replied that without the supplements, I might not be able to function the way I do. He shook his head endlessly...We just agree to disagree. This was my first experience with a doctor who was outrightly against the supplements. Some doctors I see on a regular basis may not be supplements enthusiasts but at least they kept mum about it as courtesy.
