I have always had a problem with shoes and the brace. I would have to take the sneakers my daughters wore out and wear them. But I took a chance the other day and bought a pair of Dr. Scholls with the gel inserts already in them. I couldn't belive that I kept the shoe on. Most of the time I have to get the shoe off in a matter of seconds, too much pain. Good Luck!
