I had about 6 weeks of little or no pain. Now I seem to be in a plateau where the pain is back, though nowhere near as bad as previously. The worst part is that this pain only comes on at night and interferes with my sleep. The other night I don't think I slept at all. It was that annoying. At any rate, does Tramadol work immediately? In other words, on a bad night could I take a Tramadol and expect it to give me at least enough relief to get to sleep?

Are the ones you have "slow release" or the ones that last [i think, not sure ] 4 hours ? with the Slow release, taking every 12 hours there are no laps in times where the pain increases, i am not sure about the others though, asking Bob would be the shot, though.
