I hope the block and meds work for you! I have had LOTS of blocks, you will be fine. I prefer not to have sedation with them because it is just another needle and more groggy feeling. I figure the uncomfortableness of getting the block is only temporary and nothing like the pain of flares I have...again, you will be fine!!

I have had a few too..yes make sure you are sedated.I had one once in the office not sedated and lets just say not good..It only helped one spot,for a short time.tried a few more,and then we gave it up,because he could not get the right nerves..He said I was a hard case.So hope it goes well.Make sure you ask questions about sedation..best wishes
