Hello twanielee,

Having "non-specific" brain lesions is very generic for saying they don't know the cause at the moment. There are different causes for Brain lesions.

I have had MS a very long time and my brain MRI still states "non-specific" in reference to my few Brain lesions. My cervical spine MRI states "consistent for MS."

Anyone have MS diagnosed based solely on symptoms and non specific lesions?
This is a response I had given on another thread:

I was given a definite diagnosis of MS with a clear MRI.

However, I had what I refer to as the "perfect storm." I was in the middle of a severe exacerbation (relapse, attack, flare-up), positive Lumbar Puncture (LP) and a Neurological exam that I completely failed.
