I've never had the battery repositioned but I had it taken out. I had the SCS unit moved around and taken out as well. 3 surgeries total. The 2nd time was agony 6 wks off of work. I know that's no where near yours but I was told it was "Tissue Trauma". Fancy word for your body not healing.

I think bone pain ranks way up at the top when it come to ranking types of pain. I'm sorry you have an injury AND rsd. Either one is bad enough alone. My heels, then my feet, got fun over by an MRI machine (yeah I know weird huh) so I know about bone pain and the reason I got RSD. The SCS took away the pain in the left foot but never in the right. Right after the first surgery mine spread up my entire leg.

I hope you heel and the SCS helps take 1 of your pains away so you can handle the other. Good luck to you
